I think the quality of the linen is important. I've tried a lot of brands, cotton in all its forms: it becomes rough. Linen is rough and very wrinkled! I discovered Comptoir du Bambou in a hotel in the Loire. I found that comfort is above all else. I ordered immediately. Some of the towels are over a year old and still haven't moved.
